The Laboratory investigates the effects of acute and chronic physical exercise in the cardiovascular system with emphasis on the study of the cardiac function and ultrastructure and molecular profile of expression of cardiac proteins involved in the regulation of intracellular calcium on the cardiac insufficiency.
