The Study and Research Group in Intermittent Exercise Physiology was created in 2009, with the aim of investigating acute and chronic physiological responses to interval activities, especially those characteristics to numerous sports (eg, collective sports, combat sports). Since then, the group has published numerous works on the subject, in the main Sport Sciences journals, as well as a book in Portuguese.
